We supply the pet ID tags in 2 different materials – metal and plastic.

Metal

The metal tags are zinc alloy die-cast aluminium so will not corrode.

All of the tags are 2mm thick. The Large tags measure 35mm wide by 35mm high and weigh 10g. The Small tags are 25mm wide by 25mm high and weigh 7g.

There are two metal versions: Coloured or Antique

Coloured.

The finish is high quality and each is meticulously hand-enamelled, with selected brilliant colours that highlight the beauty and uniqueness of each breed. The end result is an impeccable appearance and amazing durability.

Antique

The special finishing process gives the tag a typically aged appearance with light/dark effects, which highlight the image against the flat outer surface and background, making the tag unique.

Plastic (Plexy).

The plastic tags are attractive and elegant, made of coloured thermoplastic polymer. Weighing only 3g for the large size and 2g for the small ones, they measure 35mm x 35mm (L) and 25mm x 25mm (S).

Printing

At the checkout stage there is a space under the address section for ‘Order Notes’. Please type in there the text that you want printed on your tag. You can select up to 6 lines of text depending on what information you wish to include on your pet tag.

PLEASE be very careful and double check what you put here, as this will be replicated exactly for printing, and any mistakes in placing the order will be your responsibility. If we have any queries with your text, we will contact you prior to printing to confirm your request, rather than sending you something that is not right.

We use a laser printer to print the text onto aluminium labels with black ink so the text stands clear and easy to read. We do not engrave the tags as we had found that engraving can wear off and become illegible. Using a very strong adhesive, the labels are fixed to the back of the tag and then a clear resin bubble is placed over the label, to make it 100% waterproof. This resin bubble also acts as a mini magnifier to make the text stand out. Each tag incudes a 15mm zinc alloy split ring for easy attachment to your pet’s collar.
